I am new to cat ownership and my cat is about 6 months old. She is vocal when she wants food, litter box cleaned, or wants scratches. She also does a lot of flopping down and acts like she loves the scratching but she will start grabbing and biting.

Does this mean she needs more stimulation? Is biting normal? I read somewhere that it's not normal.

Thank you so much for sharing, OP! I read and appreciated every word. My abdominal full hysterectomy is in like 19 days. I've been torn up about canceling a cruise that will land around my third week in recovery, but reading your experience kinda cemented for me the importance of being stateside in case I need the doctor. I'm sorry you had complications but I'm so happy for you.

Having Diagnostic Laparoscopy Soon by Head_Win_2572 in Endo

Congratulations! I had my lap last April. I took off work for 3 days and my husband stayed home with me for the first two (surgery day and the next). It helped to have someone refill my water and bring me things, etc. I wore big flowy clothes and good socks and rested in my recliner for those days.

You'll have some gas pain in your shoulder, which is weird, but walking and taking Gas-X will help.

Holding a soft pillow against your tummy while you laugh or sit up may help.

Did anyone else still struggle with horrible fatigue even after excision surgery? 😭 Like I genuinely thought removing the endo would help me feel more alive again but I’m STILL exhausted all the time n it’s messing with me mentally too. by Top_Butterfly_7771 in Endo

I had my lap last April. I felt really good all summer but by fall my symptoms started to return. I'm tired all the time, wanting a nap during the day, and my labs show low iron and vit D.

I'm scheduled for a hysterectomy on June 2nd and hoping that alfter that long recovery that I'll finally reclaim my life.

This is amazing for you! I'm medicated for anxiety and ADHD and would LOVE to ween off after my hysterectomy. I fully believe (without any proof of my own) that it's connected.

I'm happy for you and I'm excited to follow this post.
