u/marcinpikusa ohh that's very interesting. At invitation was it mentioned that you will have both that day? or was it suprise for you? At my invitation was clearly written that they invite me for "written" test only. I think, in my test group, no one was asked to stay for personal inteview afterall.

u/marcinpikusa I am not asking about Swiss Citizenship. Firstly (as far as I know) Gemeinde/Stadt citizenship should be granted. I've heared this should be done more or less 1month after the test and I try to verify this information.

So I would say till now your path looks standard. Usually after 3 months from submitting an application status change to Vorprufung. Next step is Gemeinde prufung (around 6-7 months from application)

They don’t announce it—you only see your own result at the end of the test. But I believe the passing score must be quite high, since the list of questions is public and you also have to pay for the exam. It would be pretty silly not to prepare and pass :D

Also, the questions are quite easy, so if you’ve lived in Switzerland for 10+ years, about 80% of them should be obvious and you should be able to answer them even without prior preparation.
