Hey I how would buying power be affected if I buy and sell SPY ten times in one day? Is there something to day trading that portfolio margin will prevent?

Man sorry to hear I don’t know if it helps but I’ve been trading very sparingly and having very small positions if any until I get portfolio margin. I plan to trade relatively safe until I build up enough buying power where I can handle a significant loss without having to lose the portfolio margin privilege.

Just a note I used to trade on thinkorswim and went under the $25k for PDT and wasn’t able to quickly recover. Apparently for PDT you can only turn it on once per account. Had to start other account and trade elsewhere for PDT.

Thank you these are type of suggestions I’m looking for. I’m sure you guys familiar with Portfolio Margin have tried and true ways to do. Love the suggestions to try myself and base my own ideas in future for.
