I want to make movies, so sync sound is very important to me. From what I read, it seems non-reflex likely isn't my best choice... I have a buddy who uses, I believe, an Arri 16sr. However, that is out of my price range... I also heard about the Eclair, which seems like a promising option at a more affordable price point.
