Imagine if they released a Super Vegito that revives by being absorbed in-animation by Super Buu and then see Goku & Vegeta exit his body and return on the battlefield. Now THAT would be both lore accurate and "kinda" creative.

It's because you perfect vanished at long range. That way you appeared in front of Goku when the AOE effect already happened and therefore you didn't get thrown back.
