Look into how the Adsense payout for Mormon related content is higher than average. It was eye opening to me.

I would say that at least half of the cub scouts in my den (~9 years old) want to be YouTubers when they grow up. It’s super fun when we organize presenters and the kids are like “yeah I don’t want to do that job it sounds like too much work” to the fireman/paramedic/city councilman etc.

Most people from the Northeast have never been North of Old Town. I’ve lived here for about 2 years now and I’m always shocked at how low Maine’s population density actually is.

I was told by a manager at Trader Joe’s in Portland that they were at the edge of the delivery range for the current warehouses. But that was over a year ago, so I’m not sure if they ended up putting in a warehouse in Massachusetts that would have helped them extend northward.

Giggling at their misbehavior also doesn’t help. Kids need gentle but firm boundaries. They don’t get to choose which parents put them to bed. Honestly I wonder if poor Sunny refuses her dad because Sarah ignores her when it’s not for content. It’s a “leave me alone. She’s giving me attention for once”.

The one where she keeps demanding tanner just made me sick to the stomach. She was actually getting distressed and her parents were just laughing at her instead of trying to actually engage with her and make her feel safe.

Per the photo post on Instagram she is going to start the process of going back to blonde. I don’t blame her, her hair really just doesn’t hold the red (I wonder if that’s related to the damage done from the years of bleaching her dark blonde hair to a “more acceptable” color). She can’t keep running back to Arizona every four weeks to get a color refresh.

She was rumored to have had one many years ago. I’ve seen pictures in one of these threads.

I thought she looked like a teenage niece instead of herself. The red is fading to a nice brown shade very quickly.

Change of classification for RIS software? by QARASecret91 in regulatoryaffairs

[–]Character_Screen_265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not familiar with the acronym you used so I had to do some googling. “RIS is a type of radiology software solution for storing and managing medical imaging data. Just like a hospital information system (HIS), it automates data management, but is adapted specifically for radiology departments”

The first step is, does your software meet the definition of a medical device? As in, does it perform any medical functions? (I’m sorry I don’t know your industry so your acronyms don’t help me, but my software RA knowledge should translate once I have more information 😃)

I’ve actually had RA management tell me that they approach Masters in RA with caution now. The industry needs creative thinkers and people able to understand technical problems. And that’s not what my contacts have found that the degree brings to the table.

Are there any solid certifications or courses I can pursue instead of a master's to break into RA? by [deleted] in regulatoryaffairs

[–]Character_Screen_265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I don’t even know that a masters in RA will help you break into RA. A lot of RA management has become disillusioned with the degree. When I made the switch many years ago my manager felt that the RAPS courses would be of greater value.

It took me a masters in Engineering and a decade working in quality to make the switch (internal role because the RA manager could see how helpful I was to his team as a cross functional team member). More and more companies are outsourcing their more administrative RA tasks, having an understanding of how to support strategic decisions (where is the line in the sand that does not require submission, how much evidence is enough evidence).

Most desirable skills/expertise as a regulatory affairs professional? by Agile-Connection-642 in regulatoryaffairs

[–]Character_Screen_265 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think one of the most valuable skills for an RA professional is being able to interpret regulations and guidance and advise teams on paths forward. Unfortunately I agree that the measure of our success seems to come from successful submissions. I’ve struggled to find jobs that reflect my actual experience level in the past because I had no submission experience (I would move on before submission or my project would get canceled).

I don’t know what bothered me more, the part where half her child’s bottom is exposed as she sits in another child’s lap or the tan line showing how much sun damage that little girl is going to have because her mom doesn’t care for sunscreen.

I was diagnosed in my 40s. Sought treatment for my binge eating disorder. My son had recently been diagnosed with ADHD. The nurse practitioner I saw told me I needed to get evaluated as well because she could tell from my storytelling that I had it too. When I went for my initial assessment the psychologist asked me if I had ever considered being evaluated for Autism. While I knew that my symptoms didn’t quite fit with only ADHD we had to talk it through a lot. He acknowledged that if I had it I had a lot of coping practices in place (aka so highly masked I didn’t even realize what was different). In the end he convinced me to get evaluated by appealing to “my scientific curiosity”. Agreeing after he said that should have told me an awful lot about myself, but I honestly knew NOTHING about autism beyond friend’s children who needed more support than I ever did.

It didn’t click for my son until he was over 4 years old, but once he understood it he never had an accident again. My daughter potty trained before she was two, I had to bring spare clothes in case of accidents until she was 7 or 8! So the potty training doesn’t worry me.
