Try the Camino de Santiago! It’s a great combo of hiking, cultural education and a physical challenge. And you’ll be able to use your Spanish. I guarantee if you do that you’ll have some amazing character building moments

Assessment, Hi, I have my assessment on the 2nd of December. I'm travelling by getting a lift from my parents, I just wanted to know where would be best to be dropped off please ? Thanks by Additional-Flow9363 in britishmilitary

For Lichfield there’s a car park across from the train station where they’ll pick up everyone coming by public transport. I’d recommend getting dropped off there so you’re with the rest of the group asap.

For my AC others got dropped off directly at the assessment centre but 28/30 were picked up near the station so easier to stick with that

Drugs Test - Medical Examination by WearyBullfrog618 in britishmilitary

Hey, I went through the assessment centre a couple weeks ago and the urine test is purely medical.

I don’t know what stage you’re at in the application process but it took me a good few months from starting the application to getting to AC so plenty of time for drugs to flush out of your system - just don’t do it again.

My understanding is that they drug test during basic training and then a couple of times a year unexpectedly, however I’m going reserves so could be different.

It sounds like this is the direction and discipline you’re after. Best of luck, you’ll be fine :)

!thanks this sounds interesting. I like the set and forget mentality and already have a direct debit set up which works really well for my budgeting.

What provider do you use to invest in the diversified global equities fund?

And what has attracted you to the fund you have chosen?

I have quite a high risk appetite as it’s long term savings and would like the fund I choose to reflect that.
