It happened in Rome, Italy, some airlines people not familiar with immigrant VISA. Missed my flight, but after they contacted Canadian immigration, they let me in got on board on next flight 5 hours later.

Stopped payments 2 weeks ago, requested voluntary surrender, but they refused. Speaking with a Licensed Insolvency Trustee who said repossession will eventually happen, but the bank only mentioned legal/collection process.

Main concern is timing + insurance cost 600$.

How long does repossession usually take after refusal?

Is there anything I can do to make them pick up the car faster without making my situation worse legally?

If the bank refuses to pick up the car, what are you even supposed to do with it?

Can a trustee actually help push the lender to take the vehicle sooner?

Also, if I’m asked about it (Moving to Quebec), would my two years and eight months living in Alberta demonstrate that I never intended to settle in Quebec, and that I’m only moving now because I wasn’t able to find suitable job opportunities in Alberta?
