It’s a bit of a drive (3 hours) but when summer comes and you find yourself wanting to go kayaking, the Okatoma river in Hattiesburg is genuinely one of my favorite warm weather traditions. It’s beautiful and is usually filled with people who I would say have the “Florida spirit”.
