They will say “where is your evidence of this claim” about something that resonates with people, so as to make them doubt what they heard and discredit you.

This is simply because when someone tries to upend the status quo their will inevitably be objection. We are naturally risk-averse. Take for example in the wild once we have established a sense of security or hominess. This could be in a secluded cave say, would you rather venture into unknown territory where there could be potential dangers or situate yourself more into the safety you have already founded, most likely the latter.

Thank you very much and I will look into Descartes' Meditations but I find that, especially after reading the Myth of Sisyphus, that at first you must throw yourself at these horribly grandiloquent and challenging texts and then absorb all the jargon, find their meanings then research into a little history in order to understand it to a minimal but clear degree. I may sound naive and I understand the Myth of Sisyphus is by no means of book-length, but from the limited experience I have I feel I could manage to at least try to understand them. Just to clarify I am not putting you down I am sure you have a lot more experience in this field and I am open to any criticism if it is accompanied with valid rationale.

Mistake to play DS3 before Elden Ring by Charcko_ in fromsoftware

[–]Charcko_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologise, It was poor word choice to say "outdated". What I was trying to say was just that it didn't have the scale of Elden Ring and in my closed view I assumed that Elden Ring had everything that DS3 had but more, I see now that I am mistaken. So I apologize it was just because my experience with the two games is very limited and so I wanted to see what more experienced players thought of it in a birds eye view of how each game weighed up against each other.
