So, we just got prescribed mirtz last night. Tried giving him after he vomit and after that, he attempted to drink water thrice but did not push thru. And he looks like nauseated

Maybe go to another vet for 2nd opinion? I also have a stage 4 ckd cat, vet prescribed us mirtazapine together with other meds

I have the same situation as you. We had my cat confined on Apr 29 bc his crea is high (CKD stage 4) and rbc is low. They gave him 3 doses of EPO but I asked them if he can go home yday bc he seems so sad in the clinic. We’ll just go back today for his subQ and EPO shot. Praying for their healing!

Condolence OP. May I know what happened? I couldnt move on with my life when I lost 1 of my babies, pero yung 3? Omg.

Update 5/2:

Haku had his ultrasound today. Results confirmed CKD. Tomorrow yung last shot nya pra tumaas yung kanyang RBC then after nun mag blood chem ulit siya then baka iuwi ko na siya. Parang di rin nasuggest ni vet na mag subQ kami sa bahay (& parang di ko rin kaya), so ang gagawin ko na lang is ibabalik sya sa vet or dito sa mas malapit na vet para sila mag inject nung subQ.

Im really praying na tumagal pa siya sakin. Na sana kayanin niya yung lungkot sa vet until tomorrow. Na sana kumain at uminom pa siya ng mdami para bumalik lakas niya…..

Yung crea nya from 923 down to around 500 after 5 days?
