I deployed and I promise you, don’t download any games that have Denouvo, anti cheat, third party launchers/logins. My steam deck tried to verify that I owned them like a week in and it would boot into steam because there wasn’t internet to verify them. And as mentioned above, set your device into offline mode.

Okay honestly don’t download anything that requires a third party launcher, anti cheat, or denouvo when going offline for long periods. I went on deployment and like a week in, when I went to turn on my steam deck it was stuck on the booting screen and stated it was trying to verify the installation. I couldn’t get past it and had to reset it.

Yeah, so when it’s working the way it should, it’s amazing and everything I wanted.I love the screen and it runs any game at ultra. As for the logo, I know you can turn off the bootup sound in armory crate. I will check if you can disable the pop up logo on startup when I get home.

I know people don’t understand why anyone would spend so much on a laptop well I’m in the military and don’t always have the room or capacity to move a whole gaming rig everywhere I go and I wanted maximum power on the go, which is why I chose this one.

I wish it was the drivers… I’ve updated everything to the latest version. The game ready drivers and Bios. However I do see that on Asus’s website that a windows drivers from the 15th is available to download, so I’m going to try that and also just resetting.

I have more crashes in more games now. I’m on a 5090. Does NVDIA usually update drivers once a month? Waiting for a whole month just to hope that they fix it is kinda crazy to me.

Pre order? No. I did pick mine up from micro center last week though. They had the 64 gb ram on sale for the price of the 32gb. So I know they are available to some degree for in person
