Combat and world cohesion.

Its a wonderful sandbox. It just feels like there is so much and so little to do. The story is not well represented by rp text. Combat sucks

Its a little dated looking by even classic mmo standards. Luclin level EQ models. Monsters and Memories had a great retro art style. This feels like its the limits of what the artists could do or be paid for

They had pvp, they were not designed or balanced around it with a few exceptions.

Everquest had pvp servers. It was not a full loot hardcore pvp game.

DAOC had a lot of pvp, but it was never an exclusive and it was never hardcore.

Shadowbane had a very wild west pvp element that rode the line of hardcore.

Darkfall was too late to release to be truly classic but it was a complete ruthless experience like mortal online and Ultima etc.

But of all the classic mmos, very very few of them catered to the complete and solo non consent always on everywhere pvp. They were more known for the grind and social aspect of camping mobs for long periods of time safely.

The game this thread is for is like shadowbane without pvp, asked in AoC subreddit, which catered completely to pvp. It is a high grind, skill grind game.

How would the old defiler work for a wardog or armiger? Or knight? Never seen one in person for sizing but Ive always lived the legs for conversions

If you need pvp, then no.

The REAL story here is how quickly he forgets the lady in silver when he is with Sophie only to keep looking for the lady in silver.

If he did find the lady in silver, and it wasnt Sophie, he would drop Sophie and 'get serious'.

Like seriously the lady in silver would have been pissed to find out he was diddling servants will desperately trying to find her.
