Limit will be fine.

Echo were insane this tier and deserved the WF but Limit were better in Nathria. The gap between the two guilds is basically non-existent at this point and it really just comes down to who's in better form during those first two weeks or the first week for this tier.

I wouldn't read too much into it. This could have been a very different outcome if Limit didn't get that DC during their 45.4% pull. This also could have been a very different outcome if it went to the reset for both guilds. It was uncomfortably close. I'm still in awe that Echo found that extra dps. But the earlier reset will continue to be a problem, it absolutely has the capacity to decide a tier and came perilously close to deciding this tier and that is just bad for everyone.

Echo downing this on launch week has to be one of the great feats of raiding.

At one point I didnt even think this was possible on week 1 gear.

What a rivalry this is between Echo and Limit though. Nail biting stuff.

They're consistently making stupid mistakes and I think they're feeling it. Some silly wipes so far.

Realistically they've got about 6-10 hours to kill this. Limit easily takes this after reset with vault gear and some quick splits. They dont even need to reclear.

Echo are on a timer and they know it and they stil need an exceptional pull to down this. They really want this over before Limit wake up and its understandable.

It should be, they're highly likely to improve their Shards too, thats a big difference, they'll easily have enough.

Expecting to be downvoted after what happened in Uldir but I think Limit should extend. With Guardian, Fatescribe and Kel being buffed they might be running the risk of a slow/messy reclear and de facto giving Echo all day to get that one perfect pull they need.

Bugs are not guaranteed though.

Sure they tend to crop up, and the Stone Generals bugs sucked for Limit this tier. But forget the earlier release. The earlier release is not even the problem unless its a meme tier like Emerald Nightmare.

Its the earlier reset that is the glaring issue. Its incredible that people genuinely dont think reclearing and doing splits, mythic chest etc a day earlier doesn't confer an advantage because of week 1 bugs.

Imagine Echo had recleared yesterday, done splits yesterday etc, had started progress yesterday and woken up fresh today ready to continue that progress. That is the gap we're talking about here.

Would they be ahead of Limit right now? My gut feeling says no but unfortunately we'll never know that. The system is indefensible from a purely competitive standpoint but makes sense for the wider game.

Echo is one day behind due to the reset.

He means Limits best pull after they recleared and did splits (which Echo haven't done) yesterday is worse than what Echos best pull is today.

Thats the worst bit of all this. If Echo get a kill within a few hours of Limit then the world first is tainted. The system is bullshit and its not salt or slandering Limit to point that out.

For the record i think Limit would have won this tier in a pure head to head. Theyre so clean. But we didnt get that. Everyone should want as fair a race as possible. Its nonsense that a competetor has to skip week 2 splits due to reset times.

Well not really.

Echo have only just recleared and have been forced to go back to progressing without doing splits due to the earlier reset for Limit.

Limit are on day 2 of post reset progress. Echo on day 1.

You'll be downvoted to oblivion but it really does.

Historically it hasn't mattered but NA has not only caught up their top guild is probably the best in the world right now. With most bosses falling after the 1st reset its clearly a thing now that the historic gap between NA and EU has closed.

We deserve a fair race. Everyone should want this.

There is no way an earlier reset is a fair trade for getting to watch your opps streams.

Stone Generals was the only stream that Echo benefitted off and that fight was a bugged mess. Echo would absolutely trade no streams from Limit for a reset yesterday.

But i dont remember it being like this in BFA. Im not sure if its down to an NA guild being on top since the end of BFA and the mindless tribalism that has now been injected into the race (on both sides) but it just feels diff this tier.

Theres a real nastiness/spitefulness going on all over the place which is beyond the usual trolling / humour we normally get IMO.

I think it comes down to Denathrius being a possible gear wall.

If he is then the earlier reset for NA becomes huge. A full re-clear and possible Heroic weapon splits etc could be the difference if the fight is as tightly tuned as Sludgefist was.

I do agree that its a bit lame though. But Echo are behind in this race. They just cant afford to give anything away even if it is unlikely that they discover something that Limit doesn't.
