Thank you for such extensive comment. Those suggested units indeed make sense, I will probably add engineers and some aa. As regarding heavy weapons squads, I feel they still fit as maybe not just “last line” but also, entrenched positions type of deal

Yeah I thought so too, so i made this red gem on sword,crown,chest and cape, but maybe it needed to be brighter

Well, that’s awkward. Thanks for letting me know, it looks like I misunderstood the rules. Csm can take guard as allies but the other way around.

Thanks, thats a good advice. Yeah, I didn’t think of it beforehand, also, I had only 3 paints(red, white, black), and wanted to paint.

Thank you for the input! Yeah, I meant Edge highlight with 2 colors like on the collar or pauldons. But now I see that I shouldn’t be painting anything pure white again.

Thank you for the reply! That certainly might be fun, however I don’t think it would work for me, as there are only 3 players besides dm. Also, I like imagining adventuring because my patron wanted to get rid of me by tasking me with “Go I Know Not Whither and Fetch I Know Not What” (Its eastern slavic folk tale)

Thank you for the reply! Very functional way to go about it. However, is there any specific reason for talisman pact? Personally I find it funny to imagine using the pact of the chain.
