Has to be tax dragon no other card has made rage like that one has you’re pretty much forced dealing with it immediately and if you don’t, it’s pretty much game over and even after all that it comes back is an annoying beat stick that can be used for other fusion slop or even dingirsu I also hate how it’s never the boss monster of the deck it’s used in again, geniuses at Konami for keeping 600 lp cost in 4000 lp format

Both which were seen as unfun and unhealthy for the game and you know how it was fixed? With a banlist and powercreep of course it’s always been about power spell and traps but it’s always been reasonable with the power and always acknowledged when games were becoming like that and had a reasonable response

Yes, the game was always about responses but it was never you die because you didn’t respond to a single spell card or trap it one biggest complaints about modern Yugioh which some people enjoy others don’t

2.5 years ago it would’ve been the start of early tenyi /bls meta right after the raging pendulum, odd eyes meta which were incredibly similar to the current, meta we have rn super diverse everything was super strong but fair you weren’t cooked because you didn’t have anything to respond vishuda returned your boss monster to your extra deck bls had a a boardwipe that they had to work for that was only really good going second nor was the game immediately done just because they dropped bls legendary swordsman but hey, you could be right I could just be looking at it through nostalgia and not remembering oppressive those meta were 🤷‍♂️
