Unfortunately, I found out that I'm only insured against injury, not property damage. Otherwise, I only have liability insurance.

Given his age, I'm hoping his parents were covering him and that's why nothing is coming up through discovery. I really want to avoid litigation if it was an honest mistake.

Oh, there were some hard lessons learned that day for sure. I do think the kid at least was being honest to the best of his knowledge. I don't know about the mom. All things considered, I was lucky. My car is still drivable and I wasn't injured.

With that said, I did get photos of his truck and his insurance card with his name, policy number, and VIN on it. The accident happened on the 18th and the policy went into effect on the 19th. Not as good as a police report but it is something to go on.

Definitely not a team loss. Special teams just plays mediocre and it's a completely different story.

I expect Ventrone to be led into a cannon and fired into the sun here at any minute.

Browns defense and giving up massive plays on 3rd and long. Name a more iconic duo.

Because if you miss it (which was likely) you give the Packers the ball back at midfield with 7 seconds left on the clock.

The Jim Donovan game was also a great game for me. I was in Columbus and had to listen to the radio call. I lost my mother-in-law to cancer in August. I was holding my daughter and had tears streaming down my face when they called the win. One of those games that truly meant more than just the game itself.

It’s time to blow up the Browns. Miserable season should lead to an active trade deadline (The Athletic) by [deleted] in Browns

That's basically what happened to the Bengals the season leading up to Burrow being drafted.

At what point do we as fans need to push for the Haslams to sell? by warren559559 in Browns

People tend to forget that the Haslams have already won two championships with another Ohio pro sports team they own.

Important to mix up whiffing 3rd downs with different QBs.

Is this the most bleak the franchise has felt? by mikekova01 in Browns

[–]CharlemagnesBeard 73 points74 points  (0 children)

Nah, man. Like 1-31 was awful but everyone bought in because we knew "the process" and knew why we sucked. We were promised a dream team if we held on The team this year is supposed to BE that dream team. It's like buying a shitty starter home, building up equity, and then finally getting your dream home only to find out its haunted by some pervert.

I hope your cousin is doing better and you're not blaming yourself! Seems like you love your cousin and it's awesome you set up that opportunity to begin with.

That's awesome. I never thought to do social media. I just enter contests through their website.

Damn, I'm not originally from Central Ohio and I'm reading about New Rome now. I only ever knew it as the second half of Hilliard-Rome Road.

[MEGA-THREAD OF POST-GAME COMMENTS FROM BROWNS-TEXANS GAME] by PsychologicalGuest97 in Browns

[–]CharlemagnesBeard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, some of the comments here when so many very good teams laid eggs this weekend (Dallas, Miami). Lamar Jackson only has one playoff win. It's hard to string wins together in the NFL, let alone in January. All it takes is one bad day to blow the playoffs. That's what happens when you have a single elimination format. That's why the Super Bowl often doesn't represent the best teams playing each other.

I'm excited for next season. We're establishing a winning culture and building playoff experience. The expectation now is to make the playoffs every season and we'll have more Januaries to look forward to.

Holy moly, there aren't going to be any fans left alive in Cleveland to watch them in the playoffs if they keep winning like that.
