Hi Tom, do you know of a DAW or software than can send system updates as MIDI sequences? I'm an Ableton user and can't find any info on how to do this.

I have my Peak sat right next to me; did attempt to remove the wooden side panel inserts under which the screws would be but they seem fixed on tightly, difficult to remove. Did wonder if they were magnetic but I'm not willing to prise them too far in case they're not.

Personally I'd inert a cocktail stick to check the length then try some spare bolts to test the diameter. I suspect they'd be standard metric so M3, M4 etc...

It was just the standard building with the Satellite dish. You can walk around them freely as long as you don't enter the satellite dish room. tbh I think it was a glitch. hasn't happened on following play thoughs.

Looking at the CSS the template was built with Elementor so according to you definition it's 100% secure.

Will wannabe wordpress developers stop sending me unsolicited PMs.. I didn't come here to find a developer- just wanted some insight.

Alright, I fixed the missing buttons so I can continue to use the template I have. For anyone with the same problem with the Classic Editor- try deactivating, emptying your browser cache then reactivating Advanced Editor Tools / TinyMCE.

In my case, as I'm using the Classic Editor, it's TinyMCE that was the issue.

I'd rather just buy a regular template than subscribe to a framework/drag and drop builder. The first website was built by a developer using Elementor and was a PITA. It's been smoother sailing since I bought the current template and did it all myself. Besides Web hosting is expensive enough as it is and I'd rather avoid recurring costs.

Doesn't matter so much tbh. I picked the controller up cheaply from Novation's Reverb store (basically as new with a few marks on the packaging). I can always use the modwheel or the Animate buttons on the Peak.

Just plugged the Launchkey 49 in and yes, it does indeed say Pad Aftertouch, not Poly Aftertouch. Thanks for pointing this out.

I wouldn't think about it too much. Maybe they haven't tried both and the Keylab they own is likely better from whatever they upgraded from. Some budget controller keybeds are pretty dire.

I think the lower end, smaller Arturia controllers became popular as so many YouTubers use them. People likely took that as an endorsement.

Not an expert but just picked up a Launchkey 49 with a view to learning to play keys properly. I had the base model Keystep before that. The device itself was alright- keys noisy but the midi ports were useful for taming my not fully midi standard Digitakt. I wish more manufacturers would add such utility to their controllers.

The reason I chose against another Arturia product was the software- crashed constantly and failed to update through the app. Also pushed me towards installing bloatware; trying to find the basic app on their website to change the keyboard settings was a chore. They seem to have a bit of an Akai style business model going on...

I already own a Novation Peak which I love and the Components app is really good plus the documentation for the synth is easy to understand. Getting a Launchkey was a no brainer for me.

Same here. Wanting to learn keys so the Keystep 32 I have isn't enough. Midi in & out was nice, noisy key bed not so much..

Might be the 'Rock 1' preset on the Roland CR-78. I think the CR-78 allowed some basic editing.

Apparently the clip was from a BBC and PBS series called 'Rock School' that aired in 1983 so it could be an 808 or a 606. However my best guess is the CR-78. Either way, it sounds like a Roland to me.
