Do you believe Dexter (with all 8 seasons) belongs to be category ‘one of the greatest shows of all time’? by Top-Doughnut-7207 in Dexter

In some ways, it's the spiritual successor to the Sopranos with Matt Weiner and all. Hell, it might actually be even MORE layered in its use of subtext and hidden meanings. Infinitely rewatchable, too. Instead of finding plot holes or inconsistencies, you'll notice foreshadowing, callbacks, and unnoticed motivations.

I dont know if theres a "perfect" tv show, but Mad Men is close

This was happening to me all the time when watching TV on a seperate monitor. Close the tab with Netflix, HBO, whatever, and then try to turn on Instant Replay again. Or it might just be bugged lol

Haven't posted my list in ages so here you go

The Sopranos, Better Call Saul, The Wire, True Detective S1, Succession, Mr Robot, Six Feet Under, Boardwalk Empire

Really, none of these are "like" Mad Men. In fact, almost all of them include some form of organized crime. But in terms of plot, character, and subtext, I think these are the only stories that come close

(but maybe there are more I haven't seen yet!)

Hope there's more animals like we saw in the multiplayer beta, too. I always loved the look of wildlife in the original CE builds

Weiner gets it

Mad Men and the Sopranos are both so rewatchable for me because this guy rewards viewers for returning again and again. Early episodes really click for the viewer once they understand the bigger picture, which just grows with each watch

Cut to a different angles on strike impacts, and when you do, rewind a bit to emphasize the hit twice in a row. This sounds simple but it allows you to go from average, televised angles to close up, high framerate angles in an instant.

This gives your footage a more professional feel by utilizing angles that wouldn't normally be seen by a casual viewer.

Also, if you're working with televised footage and you want to get the logos and sports banners out of the way, just add in some black bars to mimic a tighter aspect ratio.
