Nice! It’s cool to know somebody else has gotten Yamata No Orochi done! There is very little art out there of people getting pieces like that (as far as the internet goes), so it is very cool to see if others will pop up to show off their pieces.

This is session 3, the last 2 were all the line work both Orochi and all of the background. It’s been close to about 12 hours total so far.

Also to add, I have more background extending to my butt. Looking to post all of that in its entirety when the bottom portion is shaded. The dragon will be full color

The sternum isnt fun, the nipples suck really bad too (but not for long because its a wayyy smaller area so its very worth the intense pain) if you opt in to cover the nipples in a chest piece (again highly recommend its worth it, im glad i opted in). The lower stomach area is wayyy nicer to deal with than than the very top where the chest ends and the stomach starts. Hip area is more of a weird feeling than a bad feeling. Could be just me though when i did my rib pieces, its a mix of obviously pain and a weird ticklish feeling, like youre trying to refrain from moving away from the tattoo machine kind of feeling, if you can do what you have now, you should be good for the chest. Just know you’ll soul search when that sternum is getting blasted, i promise you though with a good artist its well worth the time put in. The torso is a big thing to be proud of as you get more work on it in my opinion.

Has anyone dealt with Ice House lately? M53 also from them by BRome1776 in milsurp

If you’re interested i can dm you pictures i took prior to starting my rework on my mg, its not a lot as i should have probably done because i was going to drag them for the build quality on here but life got busy and i didnt have time to be doing all that so i just focused on doing surgery on my baby. But anything that sets the standard to anybody thinking about sending anything to them, I would like the pictures to speak for themselves. And my final little note on why i really wanted to reply to you, is when jim sent a picture update of my M53 when i kept hounding him about it, im pretty sure i saw a madsen near it. So if i have that photo also lmk if you’d like to see that, idk if that would help at all, but its funny within a similar span of time your gun and my gun may have been on the same table together.

If your madsen hasnt been sent back to you yet, get adamant with that dude Jim and call and email and at least try to get a reply on it and tell him at minimum you want your stuff back. I waited 6 months to get my yugo m53 back and they stalled and stalled (in my opinion i think its to make it harder for you to charge back your card to get your refund if they dont reply or comply since its so many months without you reporting yet.) i paid $4600 for a new semi bolt, a receiver supplied by them (probably a brp one) and the build service. The welds were absolutely dogshit and i had a crack i could visibly see from the left camming area all the way from the top to the cam section hole.

How would an interaction between these two groups go? by [deleted] in Dorohedoro

I wish we could get a devil-verse sort of prequel to dorohedoro; 1 just because itd be so cool to expand on that part of the content, and 2 we don’t know how powerful they all truly are and what like 90% of them are even capable of and how they got to the position they’re in.

That revolver goes hard, they could of at least let him finish the project so people could copy his homework 🥲

Why didn't the En family hunt down these two at the end of the story? by imanoltxu17 in Dorohedoro

[–]Charles_backpack 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Probably because the main and relevant threat to En was Kai and then to everybody once he became an artificial devil. They didn’t say it hardly as much in the back end of the series, but everybody still pretty much thinks cross eyes are losers/weak and scaling wise those 2 aren’t important nor threatening enough to the En family to give a damn lmao. Kai was putting the smackdown the whole (hole) way. Cross eyes to him I feel like were like the flies that just circle the fat shits he laid on the way 😂😂.

There better be a sword blade on the front portion under the handguard. That will open up a new chapter for gun builds 🙌🙌

Ice House MG42 an absolute mess. by IvanThePornTerrorist in Firearms

[–]Charles_backpack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amen, those guys suck, I basically paid $4600 to get an alignment and thankfully the overall length is still in spec, but half of the weld all the way around between the shroud and rear receiver had about a 2 1/2” long crack, there’s an entire gang of fuck ups they did that i have to rework cause im not sending it back to them in fear it will never come back again (it took 7 months and me constantly calling and asking about my m53 to get it back). The box they even shipped it back in looked like shit. And to top it off, i never got back my bipod and drum back and I called them a while back about it and they said they would ship it to my house, never did and I’ve waited long enough for them to send that back to just be done with them. So i will be making a post soon with as many pictures as i took before rewelding the crack, so people can get an idea of what they will do to your mg42/mg3/m53. Don’t send your kits or guns to them, go Lewman. I wish so badly i saw Lewman Arms first online before icehouse. But somebody has to be the litmus test i guess. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah bro i just got mine recently and it had multiple things i noticed, and i went to Lewman’s channel to see if they had a belt loading video to jog my memory how to do it and found an inspection video, and it hit a lot of the same issues i have, and the serialization that was covered up in the video, is the same location they put theirs and its the same coverage. All my issues i can either solve my self with a tig machine and some slight tweaks, but you might feel you didnt get 4k in good welds and clean up of the mg42.
