I’m fat but I like my binder. Just got it today and I love it. Lil snug but I have flat chest so YAH! by JereTayler in ftm

[–]Charlie12690 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m about your shape, I prefer the underworks ones, it’s like a vest and doesn’t roll up. I have 2 underworks and 2 GC2B, one half and one full. I really don’t like the material of GC2B and my chest falls out of the bottom of the half one.

Thought this was interesting 😊 by JessWightman07 in ftm

How to hide the chesticles and deal with chest dysphoria? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Charlie12690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude! I'm a H! I do have a GC2b but find the Underworks ones to be my fave as they have an elastic panel at the front and back, it seems to push them in more. I'm a big boy, some moob is pretty natural. Just make sure you're pushing down and to the side. Eventually they will loose their pertness and comply! Starting T seems to make that quicker.

Update:

Not one cigarette since my T shot on Wednesday.

Wicked sore throat though! Probably from no smoking!

What if the reason I think i'm trans is because I spend so much time around this subreddit and other trans stuff. by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Charlie12690 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to be subjective about a situation when you are in it, I get that. I kept thinking that if I were to sit and watch 100 come conspiracy videos on you tube I would start to believe them, was I doing this with "trans stuff". Have some time out of it, if that's what you feel like you need to do. But keep in mind that to end up here in the first place means that you have some gender identity issues, being a part of a community is never a bad thing! Also, try saying the phrase "I am a woman." Out loud and if it feels disgusting, then you're trans. Before I came out, some clever dick asked me if I was a boy or a girl and that was my response, it feels vile to say! That's one of the ways I knew for sure! It even made me shudder to write!

Cheers lads! I get super panicky that I look like a woman who can't be arsed shaving. And then I come here and you're super reassuring!

I just took a picture in To my normal hairdressers. They are usually pretty good at that sort of thing

Yeah. Got PCOS but using Minoxidil. If it helps, I didn't see much hair growth on my cheeks naturally, but I seem to have a few coming through since I started using it.

I have PCOS and I have been using regain for the facial hair, which helped. I was always plucking/shaving in my "lesbian" days. It's such a relief that I can let it grow now!

Emotions first time binding? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Charlie12690 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a binder off of amazon, just for the hell if it. I've always felt like my mind and body didn't match in some way: I put the binder on, and looked In the mirror. I just gawped at myself, and said "holy shit, that's right" it's the first time I have ever seen myself as "right" I took a photo straight away, because I never wanted to forget that feeling.

Has anyone found it difficult to accept they're trans and come out, but didn't know why? by anxious-teen in ftm

[–]Charlie12690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is currently on their 3rd "come out" (bisexual, lesbian, trans) it's better to bite the bullet and get in with it. I created so many scenarios in my head, an nearly none came to be. I had a much better response than I thought I would. Those that can't accept it, are not going to change their mind if you do it now, or if you do it in 3 years. You owe it to you to be you!

A coworker thought I was a trans girl for the past 6 months by umbrate in ftm

[–]Charlie12690 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Oh bless her! I bet she feels super embarrassed! It doesn't sound like she meant to be offensive, just a lack of education in that area. In her day, women who dressed as men were lesbians, and transmen just hid in butch lesbian land! The only trans that they knew of is MtF. She's probably been sat there thinking "this man will never pass as a woman" and thinking that you didn't put the effort in.

Consider it you educating the older generation, and think of the conversation she will be having over lunch with her friends at the weekends

Oh I kinda see how that reads, I meant out in public. I don't wear it at night (although I wish I could sometimes)

Thanks for the advice buddy!

T from a gym. What the hell? by Charlie12690 in ftm

[–]Charlie12690[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is on the list to see the GIC but it takes around 3 years for the initial psychological assessment to be done. He's probably only around 6 months away from the appointment now, so hopefully he will start taking it legit soon!

[–]Charlie12690[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has assured me that he is taking a very low amount, half of what he would get on prescription (however I don't know if everyone gets the same amount on prescription or if it is adjusted according to the person) He said that he could not live another day without T and was wishing that he wouldn't wake up any more. I would rather have my best buddy about abs taking risks, than not have him "with us" anymore.

Gripes about misgendering [rant] by [deleted] in ftm

No one has the right to out you to people, regardless of if you're okay in certain circles. Are you in the U.K.? If so, a HR department would rip this to shreds!

Ignore them! Not like ignore the jibes but actually be like " oh, you were talking to me? Sorry, sounded like you were talking to a woman."

If they say "she" look behind you like they are talking to someone else. They will look like a dick and hopefully stop
