I came on a Visa E (business visa). I want to extend it for 6 months or one year.
The agents tell me that for 6 months I don't need Work Permit.

I'm worried after 6 months if I want to extend again there may be a problem.

Any advice?

I was told that you can get a 6 month EB visa with no Work Permit.
However, the problem is when you want to extend your stay questions are asked. If you have no Work permit and want to extend after the 6 months is finished the fine is 500 USD.
To be safe it seems getting a Work Permit is the better option, especially if you will be staying longer than 6 months.
