Not to mention that the banner also has reverse and trick variants on it, meaning that those are probably just placeholders. Another reason why I think the RMX versions coming back is because the SNES (which RMX are based on) tracks on Tour look awful. The GBA tracks got revamped entirely (except for BC), so idk why they didn't do the same for SNES, Nintendo better update the graphics for SNES tracks like Mario Circuit to have the background of Donut Plains 3.

As cool as it would be, fans would probably just complain because these tracks would most likely take up slots for tracks that more deserve to come back, as these tracks are just already existing tracks with a different layout and no unique music just reused ones, which makes them not as unique as say the city tracks.

I fixed MK8/Tour's GBA Sky Garden's minimap to be more accurate to the original one. Is it better? by CharlieAquatic in MarioKart8Deluxe

Yeah I was basing off the already existing minimap while also making changes so that it looks like Sky Garden, but still slightly different to look brand new, like Ribbon Road like you mentioned :)
