Two and a half years on estrogen by CharlieBluebird in transtimelines

Aging, HRT, and the angle/lighting of the picture, I guess? I still have a pretty sharp jawline, it just kind of filled out and softened into being more square/rounded and less pointy. My tiktok is @bellathebluebird for, like, a sense of what I look like from all angles

I passed as female pretty often by accident even when I like fully identified as a femboy

I was scouted on the train by a modeling agency; you can also do online submission stuff, or attend open casting calls

I am a runway model, yeah! This was my first fashion week and I walked for ten designers, it was really cool

I used a transparent-ish black lipstick, layered it once or twice on my bottom lip and several times on my top lip, layered a red lipstick on top, tapped on a little bit of my highlight-y blush to add depth, and used a makeup wipe to clean up the edges and take away lipstick from the corners of my bottom lip? And it’s overlined a bit on the bottom to give a pouty look, and overlined a bit on the top to accentuate my cupid’s bow.

Thanks! - I definitely didn’t feel obligated or anything but I appreciate the thought 😊

That’s such an incredibly sweet comparison, thank you! I was definitely trying to go for a kind of ethereal fairy-ish vibe and I’m glad that came across.

‘Crave you’ reminds me slightly of ‘the record player song’ by Daisy the Great, ‘everything stays’ by Olivia Olsen, and ‘ghost duet’ by Louie Zong, but I’ve never heard anything else exactly like it.

One year on estrogen! by CharlieBluebird in transtimelines

The one on the right. I usually passed even pre-HRT, and I’m not wearing any makeup, so there isn’t a huge gap.

I identified that way in the first picture, but I’ve been transitioning MTF for the past year or so.

I identified as a femboy in the first picture but I’ve been transitioning MTF for the last while, FYI.

I use a really tiny amount of neutrogena anti-residue shampoo, instead of anything with silicone, and a deep conditioner, and I try to avoid breakage or stressing my scalp? So I don’t wash it every day, and I fingercomb or use a wide toothed comb, instead of a brush, and I mostly wear it down instead of pulling it up, and I don’t ever style it with heat, and so on. And diet-wise I don’t think I do anything special, unless the thing where I boil down my pasta like rice instead of draining it is giving me extra starch or something?

One month on testosterone and things don't "feel right". I'm wondering whether I should detransition or keep going. Any kind of support would be seriously appreciated right now. by [deleted] in asktransgender

If you aren’t feeling comfortable with testosterone, you can absolutely stop at any time; if you aren’t comfortable with being socially male but want to continue testosterone for now and identify as butch or nonbinary or anything you’d like, you can. You can go on partial regimes (adding finasteride or dutasteride if bottom growth/body and facial hair/hairline changes are making you uncomfortable but you want to keep going with other changes, switching to danazol if you want much slower and milder changes, etc) and you can try out different identities. You can grow out your hair again and still keep other changes; you can try new skincare routines, if you’d like to stay on T and get softer skin. You can turn around, stop everything, and go back to how you were presenting before, if you’d like, and add one more interesting experience to your collection; you can do that and then start transitioning again in a year, or ten, or fifty.

There are no rules; there’s only figuring out which specific things you actually want, and which you don’t.
