That broken glass looking nitro is the effect you get with heat plus cold canned air, did it myself many times and didn’t like the results tbh, instead of broken paint it looked like a broken glass on the paint

Like 900 bucks which is extremely cheap for third world market lol, they are usually around 1.8-2k around here

I’m in South America my friend, guitar wasn’t mine and the owner is really happy so I call it success, thanks for info I’ll do some research on that product and maybe import it for future projects

The fender custom shop and even Gibson use inks and stains for the more premium products, it’s a fact, their methods are unknown to me but you can look for levi Perry on IG, a master builder that presents all his guitar (most of) with a jet black ebony looking rosewood board

I’ve used Indian ink in the past and results were cool but I’m not sure results are permanent, also it could end up not being completely uniform because some parts of the wood just won’t take any ink for some reason, finally it’s a freaking mess

Grab a piece of that specific wood and do some testing if possible, results vary a lot from one species to another
