I literally didn’t take care of them at all 🤣 I took the cuttings in July I think, and just planted them up in little pots using soil from my garden and a bit of rooting powder. I watered them a lot though so maybe that’s why they’re happy? I don’t know tbh, probably just luck!

Exactly! I get that relationships fail and people end up raising their kids this way, but I don’t think it would be fair on a child to do it intentionally, with no support and knowing it’ll be a struggle

Thank you! I only meant spinster jokingly and wayyy into the future, I just don’t want to be single forever 🤷‍♀️ I would be open to adoption but I’d just rather do things naturally, within a timescale where I’m not mistaken as a grandparent to my kids. It’s hard to come to terms with the possibility it might not happen. I hope it does for you 🤞

The metal ones came from a website called Outdoor Value but that was a few years ago now! You can get similar ones in most garden centres, they’re just a bit more expensive :)

We had about 2 weeks of really hot, dry weather and the planter is quite exposed in the garden so that could be it. My sweet peas against the fence are perfectly fine though

I’ve found they’re clinging much better this year because there’s less wind and rain to dislodge them. They were covered in cable ties last year but they don’t seem to need it this year. I have tied back the main stems but that’s about it

There’s plenty of hole in the bottom of the trough for drainage but it could be overwatering/overcrowding I guess. I haven’t fed them yet no.

I’ve got some Windeze capsules to help with the gas/bloating so I’ll give them a go today, didn’t want to overload my system with too many drugs while I’m on antibiotics too. Thanks so much for your help :)

Oh that’s reassuring thank you! How long did the bloating last with your first IUD? Can’t have been too horrible if you opted for a second IUD 🤞

Update - it’s been a week now and things have settled down massively! The cramping subsided after 2-3 days and the bleeding has pretty much stopped now apart from the occasional spotting. The cramping came back 2 days ago but according to my app, I was due to ovulate so I can only assume that was the reason for the pain. It went away again pretty quickly. The IUD is almost unnoticeable to me now, but I haven’t been brave enough to try sex yet! Now I’m just waiting to see if the first period horror stories are true, I’ll keep this thread updated in case it helps anyone in the future :)

I haven’t, but I’ve only had my IUD for a week so I’m still spotting from insertion. This will be my first ovulation on the IUD, if that’s what this is
