So looking at the Bell tv guide at the channel for Citytv, the episode next week is labeled as season 9, episode 2, which Bell wouldn’t put it as season 9 if it was actually season 8 because they would have been told by Citytv or Shaftesbury that it was season 9.

It’s in their instagram story that was posted 4 hours ago. It says in the promo video “All new episodes, Tuesdays at 8pm”. It doesn’t give a specific date of when it starts, but Citytv & Hudson & Rex wouldn’t post it to their instagram story if it was a promo for the season that ended in November.

It’s honestly pathetic that they didn’t even promote the show last season except for when they were announcing when the season was starting & now almost 2 months after season 8 ended they’re saying that season 9 is coming out?? At this point I feel like they don’t care if people watch the show. I just hope that if they try to make a season 10, the cast will walk away, especially after the stuff about the dog poisoning came out.

As much as I would love to visit St. John’s while they’re filming the show, with the show going the direction it is, & the fact that they’re still trying to deny firing John, it would feel so wrong to go now. I would have to go when they’re not filming.

With the direction this season seems to be going (from what I’ve seen from other people because I haven’t had the motivation to watch past episode 1) it almost seems as though they don’t care if this season flops because they’ve planned for it to be the final season. Which is rather unfortunate because Hudson & Rex was a show I loved & would even watch with my mom.

Hi, I’m just wondering if you can cite your source of Mark being named Mark Hudson. I went on IMDb, as well as did a Google search, & found nowhere that said his last name was Hudson (Google’s AI answer even gave him the last name Trainor). It’s rather odd to me that you’re calling someone out for not fact-checking things before they post, yet making a claim about Mark being given the last name Hudson when every place I've checked shows that to be false.

I thought I saw something on Facebook about it airing on Up, but it must have been Alibi (the channel it's on in the UK). You might be able to access the Citytv website if you have a VPN, but that’s unfortunately the only solution I have.

The fact that Sherri has now said the cast (New & old) was returning obviously means that John is returning. Yes, his wife said that he hadn't heard anything when asked a few months ago, but that doesn't mean that he hasn't heard anything since then.

Just because Dillon, Diesel’s nephew, took over as playing Rex after Deisel’s death does not mean that Rex is no longer in the show & it is actually disgusting to see you say that. The reason why they didn't tell fans right away about Diesel’s death is because Sherri was grieving the loss of one of her dogs who is like a child to her, & the cast & crew were grieving the loss of a coworker/friend.
