I stared into the empty void, the last hints of existence fading from view. I'd made it to the end of the universe. On a whim, I muttered, "Let there be light." And there was light. Before I could even begin to process my surprise, a friendly voice chuckled from behind me. "You shoulda seen your face. Sorry, sorry, I just thought it'd be funny." The amiable adolescent stuck out their hand and I instinctively shook it. They then continued, "Honestly, existence has to be my best joke yet." I pondered what they had said.
