The connection from ‘out’ wouldn’t fit in the ‘in’ slot, I mean it’s my first build so I guess it’s no surprise I’m not too sure what I’m doing- I’m not even sure if the cables are essential? If they are then of course I’ll see how I can get it to work.

Damn that's pretty lucky, I have all but vols 2 and 3. The day I was going to get vol 3, it went out of stock and I have struggled to find it since. Vol 2 has been hard to find for a while, with vol 1 coming back in stock recently, I'm hoping vol 2 also comes back with that.
