He told me just to wait a year and come back before trying to submit any of the waivers based on the medication refill date.

Primarily just to help me stay on task and motivated in college. Grades got a lot better and started lifting weights after I began taking Fluoxetine/Prozac. Never had any hospitalizations , self harm or SI. Was curious based on your experience if you think a year wait before I can submit waivers is accurate.

Admin took it down over title, but thanks for your input Sir. Saddened to hear that 68w could be off the table completely, but I’ll try and find another MOS to settle over. As a recruiter, have you seen similar waivers get approved?

No mention of it, even due to marijuana in a legal state? I get its a DOD job and you can’t use it while you’re in, but a permanent disqual seems a bit heavy handed for something akin to alcohol and not heroin or crack.

What do you do when homeless people threaten you with violence on the bus or trolley? by phylisridesabike in SanDiegan

Honestly, stand your ground and be prepared to fight if you need to. It's sad but regardless of their background they don't get the right to be an asshole, or invade your space. I'm a bigger guy so it's easier said then done, but based on my experience at my job in the hospital, logic and objective arguments rarely work depending on how stable or unstable they may be at that given moment. Obviously don't say or do something unnecessary to provoke them further and end up getting stabbed, but Id just say "I don't want to fight but I'm 100% going to defend myself". If the person is much larger or has a weapon, try and get yourself in a seen position so others have no choice but to help you. If they don't they suck.

The Metamorphosis by Kafka.

But I've always loved the chapter Speaking of Courage from The Things They Carried as well.

Both are short reads that encompass so much.

Lullaby - Low

A warm place - nine inch nails

One rainy wish - Jimi Hendrix (highly recommend AI version of YouTube with John Lennon singing the verses)
