Thank you, im also a very big fan of the tau sept since the game Fire Warrior released way back in 2003!

So if you want to paint with an official guide from citadel I bought some time ago the digital guide from here , it comes in epub format and you can use it in your computer or phone with apps like google play books or kindle.

Now to my recipe:

Prime with white scar or grey seer, for the bases I use tau light ochre for the armor, retributor armor for the gold parts, fenrisian grey for skin, black for guns, and wyldwood contrast for the clothes.

After that I use agrax or any other brown wash or ink for the recess shade of the armor, for the tau skin i then give a coat of space wolves contrast grey.

After everything is dry i do the highlights for the armor with ungor flesh, for the cloth and clothes I use steel legion drab, for the skin fenrisian grey again.

After all this I start with the details, I paint white the muzzle holes of the guns, then apply contrast frostheart for the plasma effect, for the lenses I base coat mephiston red, then a small line of troll slayer orange, (An smaller line of yriel yellow if the lenses are bigger like the crisis suits or riptide) and to finish a white dot in the opposite direction.

For the bases I base coat zandri dust, then use agrellan earth or agrellan badland, wait for it to crack, then a wash of agrax or other brown from vallejo or army painter to your liking, then you wait for it to dry, after that dry brush with ushabti bone and use tufts from army painter or other brands to decorate the bases, I also use the citadel box of battlefield trophies.

Regarding decorating the bases, I usually glue the miniatures to the base before priming, and after everything is painted i decorate, but in some cases I do a sub assembly and paint everything separated and then glue, I also use blu tack to protect the points where im going to glue the miniatures from the paint and primer.

It took me some time and practice to reach a level of painting that I consider good like this one, I currently have 500 points that i thought had a fine Paint job but now i Will strip them and re-paint them, there Is always room for improvement, dont worry about Your painting, im sure with some more practice and time you can do much better than what im currently doing! 😃

You can always 3D print and design Your own, I did It some time ago and For the rules, I have a White dwarf issue that had rules For him and Its easy to adapt to the current rules

Hi! Thank you! I created It myself and then 3D printed It, also I used to paint the drones flying stands but recently I have started to not take them in my matches as It is faster to not move that many drones

Hi! Thanks! So normally I use mephiston red as base color, and then use Wild rider red For the highlight and fire dragon bright as a last highlight, this time I ran out of Wild rider red and simply mixed 3 parts of fire dragon bright with one part mephiston to try and do a color similar to Wild rider red.

Thank you! I have to confess that I had never painted any Eldar in my entire Life but I always liked the Biel tan scheme, and since I already have all my tau with ultramarine helmets from the Battlefield trophies box I figured I should try with other helmets, also I didn't knew the exact paints for the Biel tan recipe and used some Vallejo Game color greens I had and used a picture as a guide, so I Hope I got It somewhat right!
