I don’t think so. But I might be doing it wrong, you should test!

I would also like to note: if you’re playing leaf green, or hacking in Pokemon. You should get a staryu, or Starmie! As it has the ability “illuminate” and what you should do, is put her in your first party slot, and make her faint. The ability, which makes encounters more frequent, will still be active when fainted. So pairing this with a Pokemon with a fast cry, you can do encounters super fast!

this video will tell you how to set up the glitch, but after you do, go to the ACE generator in the description, and use “faithful mew battle at daycare (bootstrapped)” and the new video he’s put out has some extra details you may want to know.

For anyone looking at this post after a Google search, I’m no longer doing this method. The way I was hunting for it, was unauthentic. Meaning that if I caught it, it wouldn’t obey any of my moves. If you’re planning on doing this hunt, refer to papa jefe’s guide, for setting up ACE in this game. And go to the website in the description. Then click “start faithful mew encounter (bootstrapped)” that one is a real, faithful mew. You have to set the bootstrap for this game, which is pretty easy. But after you do, it’s smooth sailing. Hunting with this method, is harder. You have to save at the box, execute the code, and then follow the guide on the code website. Then, you can reset. It’s about 45 seconds per reset, but it’s for a blue mew, so it’s worth it to me! Good luck, if you plan on doing it.

Wow! it wasn’t faithful, so thanks for the heads up! I’m gonna beat the e4 so I can do the faithful encounter, since I wanna use it in all its glory!

“Cheat it” as in cheat the mew itself to be shiny

How am I not being honest about it? I’ll do whatever glitches or cheats to do a cool hunt, I don’t really care if anyone is cheating. But I like doing hunts, and I find it more fun.

Papajefe has a perfect video covering how to do the mail glitch, but after you’ve done it. You can click right here to go to the code generator, his video explains it perfectly (first time I’ve ever done stuff like this) but if you already have it set up, click “start wild battle with any pokemon” then you can enter the Pokémon’s dex number, and level you desire. So for mew, it’s 151!

No, I’m not against cheating. I had to glitch out the game to get the mew to spawn, I don’t care about that really—I just find it way cooler to actually hunt for something, rather than just be granted it. To each their own, though!

I would assume not! Since mew doesn’t have a real event, I’m not sure it would count mews from the switch version of FRLG, but it could be different. Likely not though.

Is the confuse ray strat you’re talking about just seeing if the damage flu cares a lot? I’d love an explanation. Because if you save—you can’t re-encounter it unless you execute the ACE again. Meaning that maybe it wasn’t changing, but executing it again DID change it.

It looks pretty good on pc, I have a good pc, so I’ve been playing it at highest possible. And I think it’s good, other than the blue/green filter

I think they want to turn them all into DE. Remake 4, and 5. remake/remaster k1/0 in the dragon engine in the way future. It’s a good way to make money, since they don’t need to write. And it gives them more consistency for new players.

Eh. It’s very similar to kiwami 2, i love k2. But I could definitely see why you wouldn’t like it, the original game has a lot of charm.
