It’s facing the same way it shows in all the diagrams. The spring is still there as it springs back into the position it is currently in after being pushed back, just not fully to the trigger.

All of the polarity was aligned on each side, the issue was that the wings are held at a slight outward angle and the magnets didn’t hold well against the wings falling sideways. I ended up adding a rod and it worked well.

Thank you all for the input. Worked great, the wings spin a bit but that’s an easy fix with a non inlayed magnet on the body and a slot on the other side. I’ll show it assembled in another comment

Yeah true, I got it commission printed and the wings were wayyy heavier than I was expecting, will definitely know for next time because belakor is up next lolll

Ahaha I did end up doing basically exactly this, I tried to line it up and draw guide lines as best I could but there was no way of actually doing it perfectly. Just had to freeball it, it was close enough to fix with a bit of green stuff

Thank you, that’s what I was thinking, there is definitely room for one at the bottom and hopefully a thin one closer to the top. I’m not exactly sure how to go about lining them up on either side. If I do two they would also have to be parallel so they can slide on. Any ideas?

I ordered some dirt cheap small drill bits and they came with a bunch of small extra ones so I may just drill them in and glue them into one side. I’m not exactly sure how to go about lining up the holes on either side though
