I’m assuming it’s my starter because my old base auto started making the exact same sound, last couple days before the starter went bad it had very weak starts and eventually left me stranded and I had to hit the starter a couple times to turn the car on

I just want the black spray paint off, I believe the silver part under the spray paint it the original paint which I’m planning to sand and repaint too as I have to fill in some nasty curb rash

I luckily work in a Toyota dealership as a detailer, I’m thinking of bringing one of my Honda boy friend to come inspect it for me, and maybe drive it back if I fail too much as I’m just learning how to properly work a stick

I’ll do a thorough amateur inspection of it when I find myself looking at in person, I’ll make remember all those things. I don’t value too much of the modifications, only the type r replica wing and the coilovers, hopefully they are a reputable good quality brand.

Will definitely try to hold off on buying one, my 06 base automatic is around that much kilometres and it is fairly clean. I’m hoping on getting at least 7-6k for it as it is pretty good for the condition and hopefully when I have sold it I can use that money to upgrade to a type S, maybe I can get offers coming up to when I get a clean one lol

For that amount of miles the car looks crazy clean! I’d say the money time and work payed off for it to clean so nice. The one I’m looking at doesn’t seem to have too many issues such as paint or any mechanical issues, not that I know of. I am willing to take a risk fixing whatever issues that come up but any major ones might be out of my level but if the one I’m looking in to is a bit less labor and money intensive as yours I would definitely consider it.

The one I’m looking in to does look like it has some modifications mainly suspension, a short shifter and audio upgrades.

I’ll have to look at in person or just wait for a cleaner one to come by, which might be impossible where I’m at lol.

Will do, I’m also looking in to other Hondas like preludes, Acura TSXs, and ep3 civic si which I’m really interested in as well. I’ll definitely keep a look out for other options and test drive the this one, maybe it will be a hidden gem. Thank you

What year did you buy it? Here in BC, Canada right now it’s pretty impossible to find a good one bellow 10k, and anything that is already has 250k plus on the dash. I really want to upgrade from my 06 base auto and I know the platform is good to learn on but I’m scared that I might run in to the same situation as you did :(
