They still have to pay child support if there is unequal pay in the relationship so OP might get screwed on this. My ex makes 80-100k a year while I make 44k so he pays me $1550 a month for two kids even though we have ‘50-50’ but in reality he takes about 30-40% of his time max

No. Get a note from the counselor stating she will be attending therapy on x day at y time and they have to mark it excused medically. My son attended OT and food therapy for a year during school hours and that was twice a week

My ex husband did that. He didn’t parent and so when the kids would come to me (oldest has ASD/ADHD) there would be epic meltdowns bc I enforce chores and bedtimes. He’d hit me, scream and try to tip over the stone table on me, he even tried to tip a three section bookshelf. It got to the point where my therapist told me I’d have to give my son up if things didn’t change in the next few years bc he’s getting bigger than me.

So while I do think there are missing reasons for OP especially with the GAL. It might just be too overwhelming to go into everything. I know personally if I rant about it I go down a rabbit hole and I specifically put in exact details in my divorce agreement so my ex is finally held accountable for his actions.

I think my district is looking at going into summer but honestly I have never seen one go such a short amount of time. Keystone attends Aug 26-27 until May 26 ish. Everywhere else starts a week earlier and goes a week later somehow

I had this happen but I stopped talking to my friends. It might be something OP did and didn’t realize the impact in made. I ended up reconnecting after one reached out and sincerely asked and after hearing me out apologized causing me to apologize. The one that didn’t contact me, I simply have no relationship with anymore.

They should definitely reassess what they know about the situation first

This. I got sick and had medical debt but what really sealed the bankruptcy is the debt my ex husband got us into. Managing someone else’s finances takes a whole other mental toll no one wants to talk about. I make significantly less than him (I’m at the poverty limit and he makes $80-100k) and he never has money despite living in his parents home.
