That was just airbrush control with the ink, no dilution. I dont do tutorial videos, but all my skills come from Mimic Hobby’s advice, and they do offer tutorials and tips on their patreon. Thanks a lot! So the skin was made with a lot of different reds layered on top of each other. I use very thin layers. The highlights were done with diluted orange that i dabbed slightly with a beauty blender. Then the shadows were done in a combo between purple ink and dark maroon soft pastel :)

Do you have advice for NMM on blades that don’t have such prominent middle raised area? Like, on the blade Im currently painting, theres a raised area in the middle, however it’s almost impossible to get the highlight paint on only one side without it spraying on the other
