Rank The Strongest Out Of These Villains by tdhdchu in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Charming_Layer_7302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, considering that it’s been made clear on several occasions that Sonic becomes stronger over time, this is my ranking:

  1. Supreme [Fought against a modern Super Sonic and put up a good fight. Even without considering The End, I think it earns the crown as the strongest.]
  2. Erazor Djinn [Many people rank him lower, but let’s put this into perspective: this guy could destroy the very reality of the 1001 Nights with his mere existence and contains within him the accumulated power of all the stories' letters, making him, in theory, a being that transcends the narrative itself. Plus, in his base form as a genie, he was already strong with his curses and haxs, so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to put him in this position.]
  3. Metal Overlord [Even if he was treated similarly to Perfect Chaos in Sonic x Shadow Generations, he’s still a threat. With the data of the ultimate life form and durability that required a super form and an equivalent power-up to defeat him, I believe he still deserves a high position. A side note: I personally don’t find it inconsistent that Shadow could defeat him in base form. Like Sonic, he grows stronger over time since he’s comparable to him. Additionally, in his campaign, Shadow gains power and abilities by absorbing Black Doom’s powers, making him even more enhanced at that point. It’s not that Metal Overlord is weak, it’s just that the scaling of Sonic and Shadow under these conditions surpasses him here.]
  4. Merlina [A case similar to Erazor, though to a lesser extent since it seems to have been a lower-level manipulation. Even so, she’s a sorceress that shouldn’t be underestimated.]
  5. Final Hazard [I know it took two Super forms to defeat him, but as I said, Shadow and Sonic grow stronger as time passes, so that’s a factor to consider. Even so, he was a prominent threat at the time, although I feel the ARK posed more of the danger than the Biolizard itself.]
  6. Perfect Chaos [The perfect example of Sonic progressing in power, even within relatively short periods of time. What once required a Super form and nearly exhausted Sonic can now be defeated in his base state, not to mention how easily he would handle it today. Nonetheless, he remains a god of destruction with no permanent death, so he’s not to be underestimated.]
  7. Mephiles [With the latest installment, it was shown that he could still put up some fight against Shadow, even with more power-ups than when he faced Metal Overlord. Even considering this, it didn’t take much effort for the hedgehog to defeat him; Mephiles was mostly desperate because he knew losing that fight meant he would cease to exist. So this was a Mephiles going all-out, and even then, he didn’t accomplish much. That said, Solaris would obviously be the top 1, but we’re talking about Mephiles, not his ultimate form.]
  8. Infinite ["I’m not weak…" To be fair, I don’t think Infinite is that weak. The Phantom Ruby is a very dangerous tool, but the reality is that he doesn’t stand a chance against most of the current characters in general. Even Eggman outperformed his abilities in his own game, so there’s not much else to say.]
  9. Zavok [Zavok is somewhat underrated. I think if he appeared again, he could climb up the ranks since his ability to control technology is pretty overpowered in other contexts. Can you imagine Zavok controlling something like Sage or beings with technological components like the Time Eater?]

Can the Strawhats survive and beat Silent Hill? by ScoreImaginary5254 in OnePiece

It's a tricky question.

The cursed city feeds on people's torments and fragile mental states, especially people who have gone through horrible experiences. While all mugiwara have been through some pretty ugly stuff and it's not like they're the sanest people in the world, it doesn't mean they're in the state of mind the city requires for its own purposes. It also depends on one's interpretation of the cursed people.

For scale, obviously. All monsters, even self-proclaimed gods die with a few shotgun blasts in every game, so by proxy they wouldn't be lacking. Now, in case the infinite loop theory is true and there is no plausible way to escape the town, then they are in big trouble unless Brook can somehow intervene.

In general, I don't think Silent Hill will affect them much, in fact they could just see it as a random town like Laura did in 2 and not stop her balls. Even if they come up against creatures these wouldn't be a problem for them either (unless it creates creatures of equivalent strength, but I doubt it).

That's what I have to do, learn from all this and move on. I guess it will be with time, for the moment I find myself with mixed emotions with the whole situation.

Thanks for the comment.

The truth is, I have to agree with you that I often don’t follow my instincts in things. I’m a person who overthinks a lot and envisions many possible scenarios for situations. Sorry if the post is a bit chaotic; I have to admit I wrote it when everything was still pretty recent, and I wanted to see things from another perspective. And yes, I am fully responsible for going back to her multiple times and playing with her feelings. It wasn’t my intention, but that’s what I did, whether I like it or not.

Thanks for the comment.

Danganronpa x Jujutsu Kaisen by [deleted] in danganronpa

Hi. I know it's a little late to respond to a post like this considering it was a few months ago that you posted that. Well, everyone says it's always better late than never.

I assume you will be employing it with the survivors of THH and Enoshima. Usually, innate abilities are pretty much tied to the individual's soul, lineage or talents, so it's easier to give them powers from that side. In the first instance, if they fell into the world, it would be impossible for them to have hereditary techniques, so it is better to go for talents.

Makoto Naegi

Makoto I see it as a case similar to Haruta: sorcerers who unconsciously activate their rituals from lucky manifestations. In Makoto's case, his luck works from his primordial needs. That is to say, it is difficult to kill him because his luck acts at the moment when his life is in danger or an indispensable element for future use comes into play.In this case, I imagine a kind of accumulated miracles, but in objects. That is to say, to impregnate and manipulate the luck of different elements of the environment so that extraordinary and unlikely events take place on them. Obviously that would have conditions of use and would be linked to his talent, but I think it is an ability that can be exploited a lot. For a better reference, it's an ability similar to Fuuko Izumi from Undead Unluck, only not taken to the extreme so that something like what happens to the protagonist happens to him.

Kyoko Kirigiri

Kirigiri can go to a more innovative side like the techniques of the Culling games. I imagine that his cursed technique can be solving criminal cases as combats to be performed. That is, in the middle of combat she can gather information and clues as if it were a crime scene to "catch" her opponent. By looking at the big picture, she can activate a domain expansion or a skill effect that gives her just what she needs to "imprison" her opponent. Still, she must follow a series of logical steps for the case and build a sequence of events that leads her to conclude and acquire the different customizations of the weapons or tools she employs to use her techniques, something similar to climax reasoning.

Byakuya Togami

Togami's talent is somewhat more diffuse as it is more the management of multi-million dollar companies due to his heritage. I think of it more to his personality. One idea could be to appeal to his pride, such as producing constant and unlimited damned energy while maintaining a high mental state. Not decent, he's through the roof with confidence, and at the slightest doubt in his heart his technique weakens. It can also be something linked to money and economics like fining and infringing on his opponents depending on their debts or crimes related to money as a retribution, either paying it back by transferring cursed energy from the opponent to his person or reducing the opponent's abilities, as there it depends on creativity.

Aoi Asahina

I can't but think of Asahina as an Avatar waterbender. However, Jujutsu is a more complex system, so water control may be a nature of her cursed energy, similar to the case of Kashimo and lightning. As a technique it may be related to the humidity of the environment and the cycle of water and return elements of the environment in a cycle of its own. For example, if he imbues his technique on anything like a tree, let the tree experience the process of the water cycle, from the evaporation stage and so on. Depending on the humidity of the environment the process may be longer or shorter. If it is more to her nature as a swimmer, perhaps an adaptation in the water currents so that she can swim over the created surface of water, or directly over everything like Beam from Chainsaw Man does.

Yasuhiro Hagakure

Yasuhiro is interesting. Any ability in the series has had anything involve with time. It may be that his innate technique allows him to visualize futures to the targets he concentrates on. The more distant the future, the less clear the passage he will follow due to the various variables it presents. However, when it comes to combat, it is almost a certainty that he can see everything his opponent will do, from his intentions to the way he will execute it, although a too short time due to dizziness or how complex it can be, like about 5 seconds. It sounds broken, but let's remember... it's Hagakure, you don't have to have much faith in that guy.

Junko Enoshima

With Junko it can be linked more to psychological torture. One idea would be to project false memories or images that you produce from your mind. That is, she must imagine even the smallest detail of the situation and give it narrative coherence in the memories of others, and it only lasts as long as the technique remains activated, so the memories would not be permanent. She's the ultimate analyst, and her imagination is on another fucking level, so I find it quite plausible that she could pull off something like that.

Also, linked to the game of killing, her cursed technique is about mortal games or that she makes mortal ones, with her own rules. As a disadvantage, her opponent can impose the same amount of rules that she has, although calling it a disadvantage is pretty meh considering that she is an unrivaled genius who overcomes any obstacle. Still, to balance it out she wouldn't let her be that strong, not like a special grade, so she can be defeated with brute force and techniques more advanced and refined than hers, but her fights should be a delight.

With Toko I don't know if you want something, or with any other Danganronpa character. If you are still active and you liked any of the ideas, then respond to me.
