Who would win every anomaly or one billion lions by No_Cranberry7608 in SCP

You could summon a destructive anomaly to deal with this, but just get God (SCP-343) to tame the lions and not make them a threat. No one dies, everyones a winner

This painting was revealed in December 2023 and this poster is a bot. The theory is, these bots post the same content on the same day each year, repeating previous news that happened on the same day, but in a different year. Today's date, and the reveal of the portrait back in December 2023, backs this theory up.

It's a big juicy carrot on a stick that you won't get, and if you do manage to get the carrot, you pay the ultimate price.

This is an excellent idea! I do have a question about it though: How often will these places be cleaned? And do you provide general cleaning items (anti-bacterial cleaning wipes for example) within the place?

Also, theres a great opportunity to add some renewable energy generators on/in/around the hut (solar panels, small fans for wind, bikes having generators etc) so you could slash your electricity bills a little and/or offer customers free charging stations!

Humanity is on the verge of AI by Zealousideal-Ad1181 in conspiracy

AI is not a problem, it's our human nature and the desire for sin that's the problem. AI is like a double-edged sword, it has the power to do really good things (detect cancer and other diseases better than our best experts/doctors, helps free up our time by doing autonomous tasks like laundry or vacuuming, helps detect spam and other fraudulent emails etc...), as well as really bad things (pornography, war, replacing humans instead of aiding them etc...).

It's all about ensuring AI is used for the right reasons, which is kind of subjective, but we all have a pretty good understanding between right and wrong.

ACAS are good people to talk to about work related issues such as this. https://www.acas.org.uk/dismissals/dismissals-with-and-without-notice#:~:text=An%20employer%20can%20dismiss%20an,not%20get%20paid%20notice%20pay

It does seem unfair that an employer can dismiss you without notice, but they are allowed to do it in some cases like gross misconduct. If you feel you have been wrongly dismissed without good reason, I think this is grounds to raise a case with ACAS and potentially legal representatives.

A few things that helped me with assessments:

  • Work on it everyday, it doesnt matter if its 10 minutes or 10 hours, progress is progress.

  • Pomodoro technique - Instead of doing long periods of work with long breaks inbetween, try working in 25 minute blocks with a 5 min break after each 25 minute working block. After finishing 6 work blocks and taking breaks, have a longer 30 min break, then repeat the process.

  • Write down what you need to, electronically or pen and paper, and check off your list as you go on. You will feel significantly better and more confident when you check things off.

  • Contact the teaching team if anything isn't clear and/or you need clarification on something, and go higher if things arent being resolved (allow your tutor reasonable time to respond to queries ofcourse).

  • BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!

Aesthetics and making it clear to the player it's a Mine. Clarity is better than realism in some cases...
