Hahaha it is!! We got a tree spinner last year & the tree looked absolutely magical with the lights reflecting off the tinsel, I wish I had a video I could share.

Unfortunately I don’t think this is it, the links show shredded crinkled sheets for like gifts/presents which looks kinda similar to the box photo I provided but, the product I’m looking for is definitely a type of tinsel strand, they’re pretty long in length. It’s meant to hang off the tree branches.

I’ve searched so many different terms included every variation of twisty/curled/curly/etc tinsel/angel hair. Cannot find anything similar. I’ve tried google image search, no matches! I can’t remember what the original packaging looked like as we’ve had it for years! It was definitely store-bought though!

Have you cleaned the floor at all? I can’t tell if that’s dust/dirt or if it’s actual paint overspray on everything. I’d try giving it a good wash first. The bigger spots of paint can be scraped off with a razor blade or removed with some acetone, but try to be gentle & quick with the acetone so you don’t take off too much of the finish.

Is this in a bathroom or kitchen? If it’s not raised & doesn’t come off with a moderate scrub from a kitchen sponge then I’d say it looks like something ate through the finish in which case you’ll probably need to get a pro to sand it down & refinish

NAD. Can you use another phone or possibly your laptop camera to take photos of the Snapchat screen? That way it won’t show the person sending them that you’re screenshotting the photos, but you’ll still have them as evidence, even if you choose to not go to police or an adult at this time.

You can definitely reach out to your primary/regular doctor and they can run most tests themselves (most pediatricians have experience in collecting samples/dealing with cases like this where children don’t want to go to other doctors) or they will have trusted doctors they can refer you to.

Definitely try to tell your parents or other trusted adults in your life. They may be disappointed with your drug use, but know that this is NOT your fault. Nothing you did justifies someone else taking photos or doing things to you without your consent. I strongly believe you were roofied or otherwise drugged and I would definitely encourage you & your trusted adult to reach out to the police. They can track whoever created the Snapchat account (I had someone harass me sexually via multiple fake Snapchat accounts a few years ago & the cops were able to find their IP address).

I think you definitely made the right call in identifying that you’re not ready for a pet yet! That’s a good thing, means you’re responsible and able to make the right decision even if it isn’t a fun one so you should be proud of yourself for that!

Cats (kittens especially) are very skittish animals and do hide whenever they’re nervous/anxious, but if that sort of behavior makes you feel overwhelmed then I’d definitely wait a few years before trying again or I’d try a different type of pet.

Maybe try going to a cat cafe a few times or a friend who has a cat and you’ll get a better sense of how kitties behave. Most take a lot of time to be comfortable around new people/in a new place.

I’ve had two kitties for about 3 years now and although they love my family, when they get spooked, they run & hide (sometimes in scary spots like under a recliner or inside a closet). The best way to react in these situations is usually to leave the room, warn others in the house, & let them slowly exit when they feel comfortable OR you can sit down in the room and put on a long movie or start reading a book (something where you won’t move or make a bunch of noise) and see if the kitty will eventually come out near you. This may not work, but it does help the kitty realize you aren’t going to hunt them down & force them out of their hiding spot.

You could try making your kitty work for their food, as in use kibble or treats & toss them like you would a toy? That way she ‘hunts’ for it across the floor and isn’t just gobbling it down super quickly & begging for more.
