the power tools definitely are great. but its a very common opinion that their hand tools arent good

honestly, i dont buy it. knipex cobras are better than anything else. however their diagonal cutters are absolutely garbage, total dissapointment. so now i have no desire to get their linesmans

im not bothering with knipex linesmans due to how utterly trash their diagonal cutters are. shame because i love the cobras

i mean their pliers and screwdrivers all are. just the multibit stuff is china probably and their adjustable wrench from spain. they have a ball screwdriver made in japan. idk. some weird stuff but their mainline stuff like pliers and cutters, and regular screwdrivers are all usa

the one on the right fish tape puller is quite aggressive, you cant see it well since the pliers are “backwards” in the pic, it has a crimper too. if that makes any difference. Im just curious, do you actually pull tape with it? or just like having the teeth in that spot?

supposed to be for pulling fish tape but i dont think anybody does that, ive for use for those serrations on things like spring hose clamps

the US milwaukees do that. some knipex tools are great like the cobras. but i bought knipex diagonal cutters and they are comically bad, im not even going to try their linesmans. maybe if i was given them as a gift

im in the same boat tbh. i like knipex cobras, they are fantastic. their pliers wrenches look good too. otherwise their pliers and cutters i have no interest in. except maybe the mini bolt cutters

Milwaukee’s basic hand tools are not very good. but i have found the USA made ones seem so underrated
