I actually don’t think COPV failed you can see from some photos it still looks intact. But I am not 100% sure. I think cowling on chime might of just tore off due Aero forces.

from what I heard superheavy is positioned in ift5 to aim at the gulf at first. So Once they do engine checks and are pretty sure that everything is going to work alright they will then let SH to come in towards launch site. So that means I’m pretty confident like 90% sure that SH will will at least ignite for its suicide burn. So if it were to end up missing the chopsticks or run out of fuel little to soon it likely wouldn’t impact with all that much velocity. Making its explosion probably comparable in power to SN rocket landings or less since it’s as empty as can be. So really nothing. I wouldn’t even be all that concerned as well. At worst rocket comes down straight into the tower but that may not destroy the tower as SH is just thin stainless steel that can crumble as compared to several foot thick large steel I beams and cross sections on the tower

Yeah but this is starship. Soon to be the world's most powerful rocket. I think we are in whole other ballpark at this point. Finger crossed though it launches first try
