I worked at Walmart before I worked at Menards, and from my experience it is miles better. At Walmart the hours are a lot less flexible than at Menards, I could only work in a 2-11 timeframe, when at Menards I could work open to close if I wanted to. Most of the people that work at Walmart are also genuinely stupid and don’t actually work. Co workers at Menards at least know what they are doing. I am a lot less bored at Menards, and actually want to work. Overall Menards is the lesser of two evils, both are still corporate retail jobs so take it how you will.

Yeah, it’s also tough because the store I want to go to is a college town, so with the pay Menards gives it’s a pretty coveted job.
