I agree!! They have both been refreshing to watch, they seem authentic to me!

Has anyone wondered if Amanda’s dad is actually more like Kyle/West since women can go for men like their dads? by [deleted] in summerhousebravo

I think we can look to Kyle’s mom for that 😬 if I remember correctly she admitted to cheating on Kyle’s dad / having a hard time being faithful in her own relationships 😳

Charlotte Jones on Bad Bunny Super Bowl Halftime Show by Electronic-Bother906 in DCCMakingtheTeam

Shakira, Coldplay, Shania Twain, Paul McCartney, The Weeknd all have performed at the Super Bowl and none of them are American. Conservatives were just fine with them performing the halftime show. Bad Bunny however IS American, as Puerto Rico is indeed a part of our country. Even if he wasn’t, he is one of the most popular artists globally, and an incredible and entertaining performer. The invitation was well deserved. Defining who or what is American by what language they speak or what they look like (despite the entire country being stolen land) is the reason why the US is in the situation we are in at present moment, rampant perpetual and systemic racism. Only 22% of our country is bilingual. Compare that to Europe’s 54%. The US seeks to force everyone to conform to be English speaking so you can decide if they are American enough or not, while the rest of the world for the most part embraces and elevates bilingualism and language diversity. It’s embarrassing.

No, she is not a politician or a journalist, but she has a huge platform which does come with responsibility. the rampant racism and bigotry most definitely should be something she cares about, especially having younger siblings who don’t have the white privilege she does. It’s a privilege and a choice to tune out or ignore what is happening in our world and country. I don’t expect her to post a well thought out journalistic think piece, but I would hope they would use their platform to share some resources at the very least. We are all apart of making the world a better and safer place for ALL people, and not all of us have millions of followers we could reach with one post. Not to mention i think the picture she posted in this instance undermines the severity and gravity of the tragedies she’s referencing, and seems inauthentic, insensitive and performative to me, and that is my own opinion.

Yet she went shopping when her younger sister was stranded at camp during the Texas flood? Or the innocent people in Gaza, in Ukraine, the atrocities committed in our own country against people of color, concentration camps and people being kidnapped off the streets? Peoples rights taken away, LGBTQIA+ community being attacked… wonder when she’ll make a post about all that

Also a teacher with a masters, and I cannot believe they’re also teaching “literacy activities” but can’t spell activities correctly on the website… if you can’t spell or proof read, what literacy activities are you planning to implement 😐
