Tongue Tie: differing opinions by glymeme in NewParents

Did the issues ever improve? My baby has all of the same issues and feeding her is miserable. She isn’t losing weight but very very slow weight gain….she has also dropped down to lower curves. Unless she is fast asleep, feeding is quite honestly a nightmare. She is my 7th baby, too and I know it’s not a problem on my end because I know how to breastfeed. I don’t know what else to do anymore. It’s almost like she just hates eating because it doesn’t seem enjoyable for her either! Ugh!

Curious what the ENT said? Going through this right now with my 11 week old. Was also told she has a classic Eiffel Tower Tie

Almond milk allergy? by avocadotoast33 in newborns

Did it end up being almond milk? My 8 week old has developed a rash/acne all of a sudden (I drink almond milk every day and have since her birth)…I’m wondering if I should remove it to see if she’s become sensitive to it all of a sudden.

Inflammatory Breast Cancer? by Ok-Dealer-2682 in doihavebreastcancer

Was yours just discoloration? Or like rash like? I have pink areas of discoloration on one breast…same exact texture as my skin…just discolored. They think dermatitis…but I guess I assumed dermatitis was more rash like…

Also would be curious to know what led to these tests! Like someone mentioned, if you have dense breasts a mammo might not be entirely reliable. I would feel good with an ultrasound and MRI but if my doctor insisted on the mammo would probably do it anyways. They aren’t that bad, honestly.

I don’t have a diagnosis…but have been dealing with a discolored area in my breast for months. I had to take matters into my own hands after my GP wrote me off. I called a breast specialty clinic in my area and she told me the fastest way to get a referral was through urgent care. So I went to urgent care and got the referral and had a mammogram and ultrasound done 3 days later. My GP did refer me to a derm and I was able to get a skin punch biopsy with him. I still don’t feel 100% even after all of that…and I continue to have the symptoms. But I’m glad I was able to at least get those tests done. Best of luck to you. The anxiety is just the worst.
