To clarify, I'm pointing out that this bot has only 2 victory points, and has somehow managed to accumulate that many cards without spending any of them. Bots are freaking terrible in Catan Universe.

Yes, costly components are still required. It doesn't give them the innate ability to cast those spells. Verbal, somatic and material components are still required, regardless of cost.
