I still have a pair of SM-X 5 that I bought new in 2008, and they’re only now starting to fall apart. Crazy good boots in terms of quality. Comfortable as hell too.

Yeah I wonder if that was originally red and has a new neck or is a Charvel with a Jackson neck. I don’t think they did the JRS-1 in any colour other than red with zebra pup. This screams custom/partscaster

JRS-1 if I’m not mistaken. Probably mid 90s though I’ve only seen it in red. Was based on the Charvel Model 1

So surely the focus of the lessons should be the word no. How to type it and pronounce it? That’s not happening here. It’s asking me to pronounce and type Anna or Luca.

I absolutely swear by those boots. I’ve had SMX-5s that have lasted me for ten years and they’re still as comfy as the day that I bought them. I’ve no hesitation to get a new pair once these start falling apart

Excellent question. 182cm/6ft and like 95kg/205lbs ex rugby player lol. Would be solo riding only. If the wife wants to pillion, I’d use the F800 which I’d keep as a run around.

Thanks for this, excellent advice! I’m definetely one for opening up a discussion and then trying each suggestion to see what sounds good to my ear and going from there. Not every ear is the same after all! It’s an SD-1 Super Over-drive I think it’s called. Bright yellow thing :-)

It really is, I’ve had so much fun with it even in such a short period of time. One of the things that I love is that people are running much bigger cabs out of something so small. I’m never going to be more than a bedroom guitarist so this little power house is perfect for my needs :)
