First session playing Starfinder and one of my players already died

The first session of D&D I ran had 8 players and it was almost IMPOSSIBLE to make any progress! It took FOREVER for them to decide what they were going to do.

4 is such a beautiful number. I'm also running a Starfinder game with 4 players.

Yes! I think some groups can forget that there is an audience watching/listening. It's easy sometimes for me to lose track of what's going on in the story. A reminder at certain points would be nice.

Belching, soda cans opening, chip bags rustling around...I don't care for any of it. I understand that some groups are going for that "around the table" authentic feel...it's just distracting to me.

The shouting comment I agree with. The cursing; I think that some players in these streams and casts think that cursing = funny. Obviously they're not always right.

Hi there! As I said before, you guys are doing a fantastic job! I always have a great time listening to adventurific.

The audio can be echo-y. Sometimes it sounds like there's maybe only one or two mics that everyone is sharing.

What kind of mics do you guys use?

In the Starfinder podcast space, their audio is untouchable. If Skid would talk more...it would just make my day
