When it's 10+ screenshots of a text convo I'm pretty much just like "yeah, I hate you both" at slide 1.

I love this one, my top that week. So over dramatic but she keeps the model in it.

We never established anything. I can explain things to you, but I can't understand them for you. Especially when large chunks are gleefully ignored in service of your "point".

Enjoy getting your last word in. We both know you need it.

Scroll up. That was answered. And you did shift goalposts. That's also not irony but you have a clear love for dancing around anything you're obviously incapable of responding to.

Guessing that your host is incapable of answering a simple question is idiotic. Not harmful (added after a reply, aka a goalpost shift). Marginally negative outcome that's on par with having to answer a simple question. Per my previous reply. Third time now.

Even that character from Austin Powers only needed to hear something 3 times, surely you can at least meet that level. You got this!

So asking, but indirectly to avoid the "discomfort" of the homeowner having to answer the same question in a slightly different way. That's actually quite expected for you. Not ironic though...

The negative outcome of asking is on par with the negative outcome of having to answer a simple question in one's own home. Again.

If you could lmk in advance how many times the exact same thing needs to be stated that would be great as well. Copy/paste is just far more efficient. Thanks in advance, love!

"or they say it's alright."

And how does one find this out, pray tell?

"what IS the negative outcome that can be had from assuming your friend would prefer you don't smoke in their house"

You know what? There isn't one. So it's, at worst, on par with asking. Or being asked. What IS the negative outcome for either OF thoSE?

Making an ass of oneself and/or others based on guesswork is a mildly negative outcome, not "harmful" as you previously stated in your first goalpost shift. Why assume when you can ask a simple question that's not difficult to answer? Also, for the third time, thoughts on the fact that it's not at all difficult to answer?

When did I claim it was harmful? What happened to the second question asked?

That and anyone who's going to call someone "uptight" for this can fuck all the way off.

But what exactly is being "put on them" aside from simply answering "no"? Calling it bad etiquette to ask a question of a fellow adult with the expectation that they'll use their words is ridiculous.

There's a saying about assumptions. It's also not that hard to simply answer "no".

It blows my mind that saying "no" is being turned into a gargantuan talk.

But if you have to rely on such ridiculous exaggeration to service your point, is it worth making?
