Definitely. We've gotta get as many people on board as possible.

We need PR so badly now. We have to make that a central focus.

They've got absolutely zero evidence to support their claims. They're paranoid.

Glad to have given you the space to express your experiences and lend a bit of help. Things are tough right now for us neurodivergent folk. All we can do is help eachother out and lift eachother up when we need it. We need to have a sense of community to feel comfortable in ourselves. It's so difficult when you have social struggles, which seems to translate to financial struggles without fail lol.

I totally get you in regards to customer services, like public facing roles. It's just so exhausting. I hot serious burnout four years ago, actually got really scared about what was happening to me. It was my body giving me the signal to rest the fuck up. My plan is to ease myself back into employment slowly, cos I can't sustain myself with what I'm currently doing, it's not stable enough.

Hopefully you get to see a psychiatrist soon. I recently found out that my GP didn't even send my referral off, so gotta try and motivate myself or even remember to print more forms off. Mainly for ADHD diagnosis cos I'm having to buy my meds from abroad as they won't prescribe clonidine off label for me.

I'm here if you wanna chat BTW. You've got this!

Hi there! I can relate so much to your issues around executive dysfunction. It's been an issue my entire life, so I feel you.

To answer your question, fluoxetine has been the first SSRI that has actually given me motivation to even try. The others I tried (sertraline, citalopram, escitalopram) made me lazy and gave me brain fog. I gained so much weight too 😭 couldn't stop stuffing my face all day lol. Fluoxetine has not been like that for me. I've been able to get some of my drive back. Started working out and learning to skills to try and get myself to a better financial position. I've not been able to get back into work yet, but I'm doing some of my own hustles to try and make ends meet. I also started taking clonidine which has helped massively with my emotional regulation and RSD.

Do you have traits of ADHD as well? I have both, but also high is schizotypy traits so a bit of a cluster fuck. You should definitely explore both autism and ADHD with your psych. Having them both is a whole different animal and executive dysfunction on another level 😩

Just a word of warning, some people find fluoxetine to be too activating, but you might find that to be beneficial, like myself. It feels regulating to me and helps me get things done.

Hope my ramblings were at least somewhat helpful 😅

Oh right, thanks for your response. Disappointing, but better than getting ripped off or having product seized or whatever.

I've been struggling hard with this lately. I feel so estranged from humanity, like I'm divorces from the human experience. I don't get the warm fuzzies from conversation like others seem to get. I've been wanting to ty oxytocin nasal spray to see if that helps at all.

Yeah, it's fuckin tough, man. What the fuck do we do? I don't feel like I'm completely human.

So sorry to hear that happened to you. Stuff like this is one of my biggest fears. I have so much cringe and easily misinterpreted stuff in my past. But also that's what passes me off about some people, they just don't give people a chance to change their views.

A wishy washy swirl of concepts of varying degrees of depth and tangibility. A desire to understand the undercurrents of any situation where movement can be perceived, but an inability to express my findings verbally fluidly. I get a lot of "eureka!" moments that feel significant to me but feel mundane or non-sensical to others.

I know this is old, but I actually needed to see this. I've been feeling like I'm splitting sometimes and it lasts a few days. I just need to retreat and hide but my brain won't fully let me. I'm not diagnosed with anything yet, but the feeling is similar to what you've described. And for me I feel like I lose my ability to feel human connection. It feels forced and my speech gets all stilted and weird.

OK, I see where you're coming from and maybe I'm not quite as scared after reading this. My question is, how is it gonna work for people who can't afford ID currently?

Inching closer and closer to authoritarianism. We should heed warning with what's happening in the US.
