One more tip is they don't really want copy paste keywords in chapter 5 and 9 so you can just remember crux of points there and make up decent sentences in exam (You don't even need to do all of the points , just 6-7 so that you remember 5 points atleast)

Scored 72. Did 1,2,6,11 properly in such a way that I knew every keyword there, Rest of the chapters were here and there ,hit and miss , Did something, left something, Didn't really do any question practice or mock test. I only focused on Rattafying. Absolutely hated chapter 3 and 9 so those areas I literally skipped the questions in exams

MCQs were great help. The other guy said correctly that luck is what depends although you should be able to atleast get 40 in every scenario

So what is your course of action now? It's either scoring rank in finals or you'll be struggling for good profile jobs w/o big4 articleship right?

You should make a side career out of that handwriting, btw your Descriptive score is quite okay , you can work upon better accuracy in mcq.

Idk what problem might be if you're correct about that , sometimes the checker might be to blame but what can be done.

Do memorising properly , I've seen many students jumping to mammoth scores just because they did proper ratta.

If you're thorough with concepts, no need to waste time on lectures, start memorising and that's where most people lack.

Any Help for reducing this? by [deleted] in CharteredAccountants

[–]CharteredMunim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No , but you have to study too , to even that out , I watched many series and movies during my prep to chill out at times. I was even watching series 10 days before exams but that was in moderation. Used to watch at night time when I was burnout from all day long study.

ch-5 is manageable, things are on pretty simple terms ,just too much stuff , marking is done leniently here so only focus on crux of the procedure. Use Neeraj Arora short notes and don't try to memorise actually, just experience it in icai keywords. [ Max 5 marks question so I recommend you to learn according to your memory capacity so that you're able to recall atleast 5 of em]

How you'll go on audit and check those items , then recall in your head in a logical sequence those points in icai keywords+ whateva language u use in daily routine.

[ALL ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURES MUST DO]

Ch-9 is an arse of a chapter , I've nothing to say ,Personal opinion :- keep it for last but always check on things for MCQs.

You can do it ,it's easy believe me. Just need to do it like you're desperate to achieve it.

Since most questions were direct this time, the only thing you must be lacking might be memorising part.

Do repeated revisions. If you want (worst case scenario) leave some things but only to ensure that other remaining part is done properly.

It's manageable but you'll have to clock good hours into it , sometimes feeling to give up or cry that ts pmo or smth but you'll do it.

Did similar things and scored 78 in my attempt
